Hello and welcome back to the Basic Bee Podcast. I'm your host Brittany Herzberg, the strategist you can count on to show you exactly how SEO can easily bring in new leads without chasing people around the gram. I've been getting so many eye opening questions, having some really good one to one conversations about the SEO and Grow group coaching experience, and I'm here to clear up any confusion. You can also find all of the links in the show notes to reach out to me directly to answer any other questions you think of as you're listening. All right, let's dive in. First question how is SEO and Grow structured? Will the SEO Foundation's recordings be the backbone so we work through them one at a time and have hot seat coaching calls in relation to the lessons from each recording? The structure of SEO and Grow is essentially yes. We're taking action on everything we talked about in SEO foundations, with the largest focus being on getting every single main website page, like your homepage, your services pages, your blog page, et cetera, optimized with an SEO strategy. That's why there are more calls dedicated to what you might remember is the implementation phase, Phase two of the SEO and Grow method. So there's more calls in there. We will be touching on each of the three phases, but more focus is going on. Phase two There will be a bit of a focus for each call, so things like reviewing SEO basics, talking through keyword research, etc. I'll come to the call with a little bit of a focus, but I will absolutely be workshopping things with individuals. That's the hot seat part of the call and answering any questions that are either pre submitted or asked live on the call for the hot seats, I'll have everyone apply for a spot before each call, but as we get on live we can workshop things for those who are there live on the calls. Also, if when we run out of time on the calls, I'll create personalized videos for anyone whose question or hot seat I didn't get to live on the call. Next question, what does pop up coworking mean? Is that where the group gets online and works at the same time on our own stuff? Is it at a regularly scheduled time? Will you be there to answer questions so the pop up co working calls will be sprinkled in as needed? Nothing is scheduled as of now because I don't want to overload people with call times and I also want to have the flexibility to add extra calls where and when we all need them. If you've ever been on A call where people are working on their own thing but in a group setting for accountability or the ability to ask questions as they're working on tasks. That's the intention with these calls. So we may log on and I'll be working on keyword research or creating SEO titles or naming some images. But this allows for space where people can feel supported as they're taking action. Especially with SEO things because it's brand new. I will always be on the co working calls and in fact I'll be on all of the calls. The guest expert calls, the group coaching calls, the co working call, anything. I will be there. What are you doing for me and what am I doing in the program? Your responsibility is to learn how to do things like keyword research, how to create an on page SEO strategy to make your page and your website more findable, to learn, to identify strong blog or podcast episode topics and how to track metrics as well as what to do with that information. So the process is going to do is going to flow like this. You're going to do each task, the finding the keywords, the creating the SEO strategy, the listing the content, ideas, that kind of thing, and you're going to share your findings with me. I will then check your work and share my feedback and or modification suggestions. And the last step is you'll change anything up that needs to be changed and implement things from there. So you are doing the work, but I'm double checking everything and ensuring that you have a strong SEO strategy in place before you leave. So you're trying all of these things, you're dipping your toe in all of the waters and I'm there with you. So I'm giving you guidance, I'm giving you feedback, I'm quote unquote checking your work. Should I wait until I'm done rewriting my website copy before I do SEO? If you know who you help, how you help them and what you want to be known for, you have everything you need to join. I have found actually that the clients who sign on to have SEO support while they're rewriting their copy or reworking their messaging benefit so so much they know what to add into the copy, how to speak to their clients, all of that, even more. But if you're not clear on any of that, the who you help, how you help them, what you want to be known for, then I'd suggest you wait until the next round of the program and all those details will be in the show notes, what's included. So inside SEO and grow you get six group coaching calls in total recordings from SEO foundation. So there are six total. And if you're not familiar with what SEO Foundations was, that was my mentorship program where we really just focused on phase one of understanding SEO. So we talked through terminology like I said earlier, SEO titles and meta descriptions and maybe you're over there, like I have no idea what that is. We talked about that in SEO foundation so you get a really good understanding of what SEO is all about, what you need to do, all of the things it touches. You get all of that in six recordings. You also get inside SEO and grow resources from the SEO Foundations program and there are a lot. You get pop up tech tutorials and coworking calls which we just talked through. What the co working calls look like material reviews because I'm reviewing all of your work and you're leaving with that strong SEO strategy for your website already plugged in and ready to go. You also get Telegram access for it's in a community, so you also have Q and A days with me and it's all in this community. And this was a really cool thing to watch unfold in SEO Foundations because the group really came alive. People were having really good conversations with each other, supporting each other, sharing ideas with each other, connecting even to stay in touch beyond the program. So it was really cool. But that's our community space and that's the place you'll go to when we have Q and A days as well. You also get loom videos for any asynchronous one to one communication. So if I need to share some feedback about an SEO strategy you did for your blog page, let's say I'll record a video and that's only going to you and that's going to you via email. And lastly you also get access to guest expert sessions. So far there are two. One is going to be on Google Business profiles and the other is going to be making the most of what you find with your SEO data. Are there any one to one calls in the base tier? So no thanks. Are no one to one calls in the base? The program includes group coaching calls. Like I just said, Telegram access, which is kind of like Voxer. If you've never been in Telegram, it's very similar to Voxer Guest expert sessions and any asynchronous communication in Google Docs or with Moon videos. But if you want to guarantee one to one calls with me, either book an SEO strategy session or you can upgrade to the VIP tier and there are currently four spots left And I won't be opening anymore. As much as I'm tempted to. I've realized my capacity and I want to do a great job. For anyone who does sign on for vip, what if I just want one one to one call with you to ask some questions versus the two VIP calls? I love that idea so much and some of the people I'm having conversations with, that's a better idea for them, whether it's budget or what they actually want to talk about in the call. So with the VIP tier, you get two one to one calls. You also get direct telegram access to me. But the two calls have predetermined topics of conversation. The first call, we're diving into your SEO errors, what they are, how to fix them, all that kind of stuff. It's going to be a better fit. Let me say that if you do want to choose your own topic of conversation, this is one thing that's coming up a lot. If you want to talk through the pages that are on your website, or maybe how a certain flow or funnel is going to work, or if you have one page where you're like, I'm just not feeling so strong with the copy. My background is as a copywriter, so I can look at that for you and we can talk through any of that stuff. So vip, you have two one to one calls with predetermined topics of conversation. The SEO errors and then blog posts and then SEO strategy session would be a great idea. You can just add those on as needed for $500 and we can talk about whatever it is that you want to talk about for that time. Alrighty. What is the time commitment? So I'm guesstimating and every person is different, so this is a guesstimate. I'm guessing one to three hours each week and you know the drill. It depends on you, how fast you work, what you actually want to dive into. If you end up going down a rabbit hole with something, if you watch the replays on normal speed or double speed, what your brain gets, quote unquote, easily versus what it maybe struggles to get. Like for me that was calculus. So all of those things are factors. The live calls work out to be almost every other week. So we will have off weeks where you'll dig in and do more of the doing. Or maybe you'll just check out and go spend time with your family or read a book or something. But that's my guesstimate for time. How long will it take me to watch the SEO Foundation's recordings? So like I Mentioned, you get instant access to the six. Each of the calls are about 90 minutes each. You get access to all of those recordings from SEO foundations. Each recording I'm going into kind of like a lecture, if you will, on different topics about SEO. So keywords was one week and metrics was another and link building was another. Throw me in doublespeed and you'll get everything you need. I came into each call, I was sharing information and then toward the end of the call, like the last third of it was Q and A time and workshopping different things that people in know questions that they had live on the call or questions that they had submitted. Our live calls in SEO and Grow will be about an hour ish. They're going to have Q and A and there will be hot seat coaching in those calls. The difference would be that Q and A would be just any questions that again they're pre submitted or questions that you think of while you're live on the call. And then the hot seat coaching is more of like you want to take extra time to understand how you could really make the most of a meta description for a services page or something like that. That would be an example of a hot seat. So it would be time on the call that would be focused, where I'm really focusing on your website, on your SEO stuff. These calls will be recorded and you'll get the replays pretty quickly. I've been able to get the replays out to people same day, so you should get them same day. This was a really awesome question that I'm really happy someone asked. Can I run my VA through the program? Yes, yes, yes, yes. You can absolutely run your VA or your digital marketing assistant through the program. If you have any specific questions about this, message me. I will say, please hear me. If you message me through this podcasting texting link, which you'll see at the bottom, you have to give me some way to respond to you. That information isn't provided. I cannot see your cell phone number. So either share your email or your Instagram handle or just message me on Instagram. If you provide some kind of information in there, your name doesn't show up and it's only me and my podcast producer Leah that sees it. So it's not like your information is going to be blasted to everyone. But I did want to make a note of that. Another interesting question that I got, I'm hearing AI is the new SEO. What are your thoughts about this and will this program help me? Either way, buckle up because I have a few Thoughts on AI and SEO first thought is in order for AI to work, it has to pull from somewhere. What I'm seeing so far suggests that blogging, podcasting, even YouTubing, I don't know if that's a phrase, but YouTube videos are helping people show up in AI answers, so you need to be creating content in order for you to show up in AI. Just gonna leave that there. Thought number two is that because Google is starting to share those AI overviews at the top of search results, websites of all kinds from all different industries are experiencing zero click searches. This means that people are seeing your website but they're not always clicking over to it. Don't panic, fear not. I'm finding that this actually means people who are clicking over to a website are much hotter, AKA more interested leads. This is where having a solid messaging strategy and solid copy on your website is really going to come into play. Because anyone who's clicking over to your website at that point you're going to is basically doing a vibe check to see if you are their person, if they want to work with you, if they like your deliverable options or your coaching options or your service providing options. Last thought, the one thing AI will never ever, ever ever ever be able to do, no matter how hard it tries, is share a true, authentic experience or story. It cannot. It will never have your lived experience. It will never have your stories of defeat or triumph. It will never have your stories of working with CL successes they've seen. This is where Side note Case study blog posts are going to be everything. They're going to be huge differentiators. Alrighty. Those are all the questions I have for now. But seriously, do not hesitate to find me and ask more questions. I don't believe in dumb ones and I can pretty much guarantee I won't make you feel bad for asking any question whatsoever. In fact, I just recently got this feedback from an SEO foundation student who said, and I quote, sel Foundations was something to look forward to each week. I'm not a tech oriented person, so there was some trepidation going in. Britney made it fun and accessible at the same time and she was very thorough. Not only does Britney know a heck of a lot, but she also is good at communicating it. She listens well to the challenges students are facing and is able to address them clearly and with encouragement and no judgment. I felt respected even though I never feel all that comfortable with the tech stuff. I know that's long, but I needed you to hear the entire thing and from someone else because it's one thing for me to say it, it's another thing for somebody else to say it. I will leave you with this if you're still questioning whether or not SEO is something you need to focus on. I shared a simple three step free SEO audit tutorial yesterday. I'll make sure all of the links are below. There's a video version on Instagram, another one on YouTube. If you're on my email list you will have also received the typed out version. So I'll make sure all of the links are below because what's happening is that people are quite shocked what keywords their websites are ranking for and that's getting them to realize that yes, in fact you do need to focus on SEO if your goal is to be more visible, to get found online, to get more leads more consistently without burning out from social media marketing. Okay, you know what to do. Until next time.
