Welcome back, my fellow entrepreneur, to the Basic Bee Podcast. I'm your host, Brittany Herzberg, the SEO strategist you can count on to show you exactly how SEO can easily bring in new leads without the social media burnout. Speaking of which, you might have pressed play on this episode because of the title. And while me saying that everyone is leaving Instagram might sound dramatic, I'm literally seeing this play out. Just this week, I had two friends tell me that they're leaving the gram and people are leaving Instagram. For some, it seems temporary. For others, it's sounding permanent. Some are entrepreneurs. Some are even your potential clients. It's not just me and you who are tired of making the algorithm happy. People are feeling how social media is draining the life out of them, pulling them away from time they could be spending with friends and family and really screwing with their nervous systems. They're not feeling the social part of social media. What they're feeling is disconnected, and that's from themselves and each other. All the while, business owners are sending me messages like, I'm so effing over being on social media and writing content for social media. I know it's just one visibility channel, but it's probably the most ornery one and I'm over it. You know what that means? Right now is the time to do SEO. That thing you've talked about doing for years, that marketing strategy you keep sliding to the someday category needs to be taken seriously. And like right now, instead of you chasing clients around social media, SEO magically becomes the way clients are finding you online. Instead of panic posting multiple times a week just so you can remain top of mind, you add that SEO spice to your content and it goes on to work for you for weeks and months and years. When SEO is done right, it can do some pretty incredible things, like connecting you with one to one coaching clients without you posting a single thing on social media, or recording a podcast episode, or saying yes to that bundle you were invited to join. It can bring in 10 new leads directly from Google just weeks after implementing a new SEO strategy. It can sell your brand new digital offers in just two days. Or. Or it can get those first three downloads before you even publicly launch your new podcast, both without any promotion. You've heard me talk about it. But how exactly does social proof support SEO? Well, your clients are kind of freaking brilliant because when they share what it's like to work with you or what they were able to achieve or accomplish with your help, they use words that other people are searching for for real. They'll say things like I walk away with practical tips to apply SEO to my own business or all online business owners need to know about your SEO course. Or Britney helps me understand SEO in a real and tangible way. You know what's coming next, right? I need your help to get the basic Bee podcast, reaching more of the right ear holes. When you follow, rate, review and share the show, that helps me help more entrepreneurs discover and lean into the magic of SEO. As a little extra incentive to write a review once a month, I'll be selecting one podcast reviewer to receive a free mini SEO audit. You'll help me get discovered and I'll do the same for you. Check the description for more info. And this isn't just stuff that I say. Real people are getting found by other real people who want serious support and support that they're happy to pay for. And in my world, it's happening super fast. In these client success stories that I'm sharing with you, some of them had SEO in place, most of them didn't. Most of them focused on SEO later on, like years later. But all of them had to start their SEO journey with me by answering those three big questions that I always talk about. Who do you help, how do you help them, and what do you want to be known for? Because when we focus on those two most important people in this scenario, you and your ideal client that makes you discoverable. That is what gets people not to just find you, but to say yes to working with you. Those three questions are in the very first phase of the SEO and Grow method, which is my three part approach to SEO. You start by understanding SEO. This is where you clearly see how SEO works and how it can support you to create the type of content that actually makes you findable. Then you move into implementing SEO. This is where you get a solid SEO strategy in place that will continue to work for you, where you feel relieved and actually excited for what's to come. Because now you know exactly what to do to optimize your website, to bring in clients, clients on repeat, without chasing people. And finally, you're maintaining SEO. You're moving forward with confidence in what next steps to take to remain in good standing and to continue to improve your SEO. You know how to make strategic decisions that support your content, to consistently bring in new leads, no guesswork about what to post, and no matter which phase you find yourself in, SEO and I are here to support you. If you're ready to leave the gram or at least give this SEO strategy a real try. I Recommend starting by optimizing your website SEO first. This is your home base. It's where you want everyone to come back to. In the long run. You want to be always pointing people to your website. Once your website is optimized to make you more findable, then you can tackle things like blog SEO and podcast SEO. Go to my website. You'll see all sorts of digital downloads if you're a DIYer and you'll find a couple of SEO service options. If you're more of a done for, you are we're making up words over here and if you just want to talk about it, I've released a handful of my Voxer SEO strategy days. They're free. You can go snag one of those before this round fills up. They're basically like on the go discovery calls. You can ask me about an idea you have or a current project you're working on. I can share tips to optimize it for SEO and of course point you in the direction of the SEO support to best suit your needs. I want nothing more than for every single entrepreneur to experience what Kourtney did. By the way, if you still haven't listened to her episode, I'll link it below. We chatted recently and she shared how she was sick for three months and still had one to one coaching clients reaching out to book with her all of those months, all while she was sick. Let me say this again, she did not post on social media for three months and she was getting found by ideal clients who wanted to work with her. Your people are out here searching for you right now with SEO. You make sure you're showing up when and where they're searching. Until next time, I'll be over here cheering you on.
